Man, this is an elite level performance. Gives me chills. Even better than I remember. I rewatched this monologue several times.
Taking pages out of the Death Note does skirt the biggest question I have, which is what happens when you run out of pages in the Death Note? How could Light judge the world for decades with such a limited number of pages? Doesn't seem all that viable, considering the number of criminals you have to kill, even in a single year. Mikami's page a day proves that; there's no way there are 365 pages in that notebook. Even if it was 1,000 you would run out eventually.

I know the ending of this anime (this is my 8th watch), but I always dread rewatching because of these last two episodes. I literally feel like I'M gonna have a heart attack just from watching this lol. The tension is INSANE.

It should be obvious that Light loses in the end because if the ending was gonna be him taking over the world, this story could have ended with L. The #1 thing I'm anticipating is Light freaking out when he's exposed. He is truly pathetic in those final moments.

Lights probably about to act like a psycho next episode if he manages to win or not he still gonna laugh like a maniac most likely
